1. NEW RUNNERS TO THE TEAM - must run 80 miles between June 1 and August 12th to be eligible for TEAM CAMP. You also must complete a 5k faster than 30 minutes.
1a. IF YOU ARE A RETURNING RUNNER WHO RAN HIGH SCHOOL XC LAST YEAR YOU MUST COMPLETE 140 MILES OF SUMMER RUNNING AND HAVE LOGGED IT ON PAPER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR TEAM CAMP. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. If you do not do these things you are still able to start practice and be on the team. YOU JUST WON'T BE AS GOOD AS YOU COULD BE!!
3. WED ASPEN PARK RUNS START JUNE 11TH.
3A. FIRST DAY OF OFFICIAL XC PRACTICE IS AUGUST 12TH WEDNESDAY.
3B. TEAM CAMP US AUGUST 18-19-20-21 IN THE UP, CAMPING FOR FOUR DAYS!!
3C -- A REMINDER FROM MR. HERVELA!!! a date of Aug. 14th at 9:00 am has been set for anyone who is testing out OF CLASSES AT GHS but will be at camp. It is set for the 14th (Thursday) because the English 10 will probably take 2 days. There is one cross runner taking English 11 and a handful taking Health (those will only take a day). We will let the students know but if you could post on the GHS cross website a reminder that any cross runner who is testing out of a class and going to camp must be at the Aug. 14th test out date.
